"Neil Roberts was born in 1949 at Ouyen, a small town in North West Victorian Mallee.  He commenced his schooling at the Ouyen Primary School, going on to complete his education at Ouyen Secondary College.
On leaving school, Neil started his working life on the family farm at Turiff, leaving to enlist in the Australian Infantry and serve in Vietnam with B Coy 8 R.A.R.
After being discharged from the army, he met and married his wife Rhonda in 1973 and now they have a family of two - Belinda, born in 1976 and Allan born in 1978.  They now live on the family farm and Neil is still fighting to gain recognition for Vietnam Veterans."
