“The ancient land of China is possessed of a great variety of scenic beauty.  On the occasion of the 30^th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, we present this album of pictures of some of the more famous scenes.  Special coverage is given to 15 areas including the Lijiang River, West Lake, Mount Huangshan, Mount Lushan, Mount Taishan, Mount Huashan, the Great Wall and Mount Qomolangma.  Views of 30 provinces, cities and autonomous regions including Taiwan Province are also shown.  The 211 pictures were taken by 140 professional and amateur photographers.”
