"Myrene Teusner grew up on a farm at Marananga, near Seppelsfield, inthe Barossa Valley, and was educated at Nurioopta High School and Immanuel College, Adelaide.
After training as a librarian in the State Library and part-time university studies, she returned to the Barossa to assume the position of Librarian of the newly-opened Barossa Valley Public Library, and worked their until shortly after her marriage to solicitor, Roger Teusner.  After a period of housewifery and child-rearing, she resumed studies in teh field of children's literature.  She now serves on the Board of Trustees of the Barossa Valley Public Library, and is editor of the Barossa Valley Historical Trust's 'Bulletin'.  She is the mother of three children, and lives in Tanunda."
