“Enter Without Knocking has meaning to those who knew Dr. William A. Albrecht best.  It was a greeting – actually.  “Enter without knocking, and leave the same way” – he would issue at frequent intervals until May 21, 1974, the day he passed from the scene.  During the last several years in the life of this great scientist, I taped over a hundred hours of conversations that covered his life and career.  During one of our last meetings he provided Acres U.S.A. with almost eight hundred published papers.  Perhaps a hundred have been recycled in Acres U.S.A. Twice that many have been preserved in three earlier volumes of the Albrecht Papers.  This is the fourth volume, and covers superior sections styled here as chapters.  Each paper carries it original title.  Notes in the back of the book provide sources.”
