“The Rev. John Cameron was born at Semaphore, S.A. and was educated at Woodville High School and the University of Adelaide.  He entered Parkin Theological College in 1962 and trained for the Congregational ministry.  Since his ordination in 1965 he has served Churches and United Parishes at Salisbury, Parafield Gardens, South Payneham, Tailem Bend/Coomandook and he is not in his third year at Victor Harbor in the South Coast Parish.  He is a member of the Military Historical Society of Australia, and his previous writing was a small booklet on the history of the Methodist Church at Tailem Bend.  Mr Cameron is married and he and his wife Judith have three children, Susan, Jolie and Ian.”
