Very Good Condition, minor edge and shelf wear to book, dustjacket has a little edge and shelf wear with rubbing and scuffing, small tears and chips to edges and spine area (see photographs) 

'John Curtin was perhaps the most significant of Australian Prime Ministers.  This judgment may be influenced, like judgments of Churchill, because Curtin was Prime minister at a most crucial time in his country's history.  But it does appear that Curtin had control of his Party, and of his country, to a degree that had not been equalled by any other Prime Minister.'
