“Bruce and June MacPherson have already collaborated on three very successful picture books for young children.  Before their marriage June MacPherson was one of Australia’s leading mannequins and photographic models but she now works behind the camera and has a keen interest in the outdoors and travel.  Bruce MacPherson was for many years a photographer on leading Australian newspapers and magazines.  After three years as an advertising executive he became a full time writer-photographer.  In Journey to the Red Rock the central character, Gail is the MacPherson’s daughter.
