Poor Condition, in need of repair, text blocks still bound and complete with a little foxing, previous owners inscription to inside front covers of all three volumes, all boards and fly-leaves loose but complete, staining, marking, rubbing, bumping to covers, edges, corners and spines,  (see photographs)

“The letters here offered to the public were a present from the late Dr. Swift to Dr. Lyon, a clergyman of Ireland, for who he had a great regard; they were obtained of Dr. Lyon by Mr Thomas Wilkes, of Dublin, and of Mr Wilkes by the bookfellers for whom they are published.”
