“Marie Parsons is married with two children.  Her busy life of farmers’ wife, mother and school teacher still enables her to do research and sketches of early South Australian settlement days.
Her interest in this sphere was developed after she won several competitions that enabled her to travel in Europe and observe their architectural history.  This immediately fired her enthusiasm for collecting and sketching our pioneer past and her display can be readily seen at her Port Vincent Gallery.”
