“Much has been written on the subject of Dynamos and Dynamo Building, so much, in fact, that to the casual reader it would appear that there is little, if any, part of the subject left untouched.
It is the Author’s desire in the following short treatise, which originally appeared in serial form in the pages of The Model Engineer, to make extremes meet to some extent, and bridge this gap by dealing with the subject in a simple, progressive manner, in the hope of assisting those altogether unversed in electrical lore to take up this branch from the commencement in a rational manner, and so obtain a useful basis upon which to build.”
